Self-Acknowledgement
I give myself the gift of acknowledgement this holiday season. I am pleased with my accomplishments in 2023.
I am always growing and learning, and I take the time to acknowledge my growth in 2023. I deserve to be recognized for the efforts I have made during this past year. I have made constructive changes and solved problems that have arisen. I understand learning is a process, and by becoming more conscious about my growth, I empower myself to implement my insights and new skills more fully. By acknowledging myself, my self-respect increases, and I find motivation to continue to evolve and mature.
Tip: As the year comes to a close, take the time to list those things you have accomplished in 2023, the problems you have solved, the people you have helped, and the things you have learned. As you do this, your self-respect and self-empathy will rise, and you will feel energized as you formulate plans for the coming year.
We know that recognition creates momentum in the right direction and instructs the mind on what to continue to do. It is important to develop an internal voice of self-appreciation in order to maintain our energy for taking on new challenges.
